In the era of YouTube and Viral advertising, along comes a web based sitcom, Vultures PI. Vultures tells the story of three private detectives who run a small scale private investigation agency in small town Ireland. Vultures Pi is made by Mycrofilms. A Kilkenny based production company set up to create new short films, music videos, animations, features, and sitcoms geared towards television and internet distribution.

The show is filmed on location in Kilkenny and the citys medieval beauty adds to the vintage look and feel that the filmmakers want to achieve. This vintage feel is enhanced by the music too.

The show's creators have been acting or around movie productions since they were kids. They are not fazed by the scale of production in a sitcom series and they are using the tools at their disposable to the best of their abilities.

The show doesn’t start and end with a single episode either. They see the potential of the internet in terms of marketing and promotion. The website carries through the spirit of the show. The trailers too are worthy in there own rights as little pieces of comedy gems. They even have a website for the Vultures rival detective agency, The Pinkertons.

With four episodes already online and the fifth added in June, the makers of this webcom are certainly prolific in their production
