True Delusion
Cominig out of Cork City, True Delusion are brothers Mike, on drums and Damian Byrne on bass with guitarist David Murphy and Chris Noonan on vocals. Their debut seft titled album, which they put out themselves was released earlier this year.
Starting off back in 2002 playing Led Zeppelin and The Who covers, True Delusion began to explore and develop their own sound.
Their sound is rock tinged with blues but with traditional Irish roots. The album has a big rocky sound, aided by excellent guitar and harominca playing and strong production, but with a very Irish, almost rebel feel. In vocalist Chris Noonan they have a singer who has a depth and resonance in the vain of Christy Moore or Damien Dempsey.
